Viral Marketing is the Internet Word of Mouth for Online Home Based Business
It was not all that long ago when people walked to the neighbors, even remember the horse and buggy era. But then that darn fern contraption, the telephone came along and although it was fought with much resistance, it became the form of communication between people, businesses and even families.
With advent of the internet a whole new exposition of technology and possibilities to communicate were thrust out into the world community. It has definitely had positive affects and opened up communication for education and business relationships although I think we are losing much by the loss of human contact. However we now have social networks that develop online communities where people share common interests. Now the door is wide open for home based business to take advantage of what is referred to as Viral Marketing.
Millions of people each day turn to the internet for work, education and pleasure. When I refer to Viral Marketing it is a system that uses existing networks of people to bring awareness of their product or service.
The goal is to dig until you as an online home based business can break into the group of people who have status as social networking potential or SNP. When you deliver a Viral Message to them and assuming you have done your homework so you are selectively speaking to those who would be interested in your products or services, then your advertisement or message will have a good chance of being passed on just like it would be word of mouth, only here it can go out to thousands at one time.
Assuming you already are in some forms of social networking; like twitter, face book, my space, down link, friendster and there are hundreds more; you know that when you see something really hot, that connects with you, you will tend to pass it on to your friends and many of us are linked like one big daisychain. Therefore if well written and compelling, your viral marketing (advertising) can really go along way for your online home based business.
